Rhythm of Love (Based on Becki's picture of a Couple Dancing)

It's a Saturday night, and
tonight,
She feels beautiful.
They are at a ball, and
they have just finished their meal -
a fine dish of seafood.
It is now time to dance, and the
orchestra begins to play.
He reaches out his hand to
propose a dance.
They get to the floor and
the music has completely attached itself to the ears of everyone.
It flows through their veins as they sway
Back and forth, side to side,
Absorbing the different vibrations of
instruments.
The rhythm of the beats have encouraged
a sense of security.
But as the song comes to an end,
she opens her eyes.
She is wearing her Sunday church dress
and a tint of brown eyeliner.
She looks around and notices
she is in her kitchen where
He and she have just finished a plate of processed sushi.
As she snaps back into reality,
she hears her stereo blasting
all Manchester Orchestra songs.
A smile spreads across her face as they go to take a seat.
It's a Saturday night, and
tonight,
She feels beautiful.

  1. this is really good!I love the line "The rhythm of the beats have encouraged a sense of security." i think this line shows how the music is a blanket of protection for this girl. It brings you closer to the story of this girl's love of music.
